Two governors touted as possible Biden replacements, Gavin Newsom of California, and Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, say they support the president.

Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday put the focus on the dangers of a second Trump administration, rather than the growing concerns over President Joe Biden’s candidacy, as she attempted to convince Black voters to once again deliver a win for the Biden-Harris ticket.

At an appearance at Essence Fest, one of the largest annual gatherings of Black women, Harris was not asked by the moderator about the debate on whether Biden should continue his reelection bid.
